Advocates are tasked with the social duty of application of law in everyday scenario. They resolve disputes by looking through the lens of law. While application of law is important, the application of appropriate law at the appropriate time to represent the best interest of your client is of paramount importance. Advocates are reformers. Advocates by bound by the duties and ethical obligations set out to carry on the noble helm of the profession to guide the vulnerable people in need. They give their voice to resolve their issues.

Legal awareness and aid

Article 39A of the Indian Constitution states that free legal aid must be offered to all. Advocates carry out the mandates of the Articles. Apart from legal aid, they also spread legal awareness to the general public. Awareness helps in reducing repeated offences and minimise damage to the society. It ensures that innocent civilians are aware of their basic rights.
